LOCATION OF THE COMPETITION SITE

Civilian (former military) grassy airfield is a natural part of the town of Prostejov (only about 5 km from the city center). The center point of competition site and area for the competitors are main building and hangar of Dropzone Prostejov aclub and JUMP-TANDEM company.  The same DZ served well during the FS and AE European Championship and World Cup in 2009.The town of Prostejov (50.000 inhabitants; 50 km north of Brno - second biggest town of Czech Republic) is easily accessible by road (highways) or by train. The competition site (Prostejov airfield) is situated next to the highway 50 km from Brno (highway only; 190 km from Vienna (highway only); 250 km east from Prague (highway only); .

Transport service can be provided on request (must be confirmed) for initial access from airports or train/bus stations to the drop zone or hotels. Transport service price list will be send on request per email.


 

AIRCRAFTS

Aircrafts to be used: among European skydivers well known L 410 – Turbolet /exit speed maximum 180 kph, left door with FS grip for exit/. All planes will be equipped with the same type of skydiving kit. (Details on the website). The organizer reserves right to change the aircraft type with the same or similar performance before the competition in case of serious third party matter of fact.

 

PRE-EVENT TRAINING CAMPS

The Dropzone Prostejov operates from April. For arrangements of your Training Camp please contact the DZ at least 10 days in advance. Cheap, DZ accommodation is available.

The L-410 Turbolet planes with the championships skydiving kit operate there throughout the year.  Calendar of DZ activities is available on www.dropzoneprostejov.com/en/calendar_mp.php

 

SAFETY INFORMATION

Use of AAD is mandatory for this event

 

INSURANCE

All competitors must have full third party insurance valid in the Czech Republic (European Union) and also have insurance to cover medical expenses and repatriation in the case of injury. In case of any problems please contact the organizers. The details about insurance will be in Bulletin No. 2.

Any damage to the hotels etc. are sole responsibility of people involved. Personal items and equipment are individual responsibility.

If the team wishes to arrange accommodation and meals by itself, than 300 EUR per participant is deducted from the Full Option

 

JUDGES TRAINING COURSE

The Judges Training Course will not be organized at this event

COMPOSITION OF DELEGATIONS

Each NAC can nominate up to 4 /four/ teams into each event of the World Cups. 
European countries must appoint 1 /one/ of them /FS events/ and up to 2 /two/ of them /AE/ for the official European Championships classification prior the competition’s start.

Other delegation’s members will be specified in the Bulletin No. 2

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT   

The Preliminary Entry Form must reach the organizer

Before June 15, 2012

 

The Official Entry form together with the fees payment must reach the organizer

Before July 15, 2012

 

Registration by internet is the preferred method.

 

Payment must be made in Euros by bank transfer. Bank charges to be paid by the sender.

All Forms with payment instructions will be available on www.ec2012prostejov.com from 30th April 2012.
